The next selectmen’s meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday, May 31, 5:30pm).

This is a special meeting to discuss the town administrator (TA) transition process.

We will talk about appointing an interim TA to take over from Katie Chambers after Katie’s departure date on June 16. With roughly 50 applications received for the permanent TA position (the application deadline is June 2), the hope is that we will be able to move relatively quickly to select a permanent TA from the applicant pool. This would mean the interim TA assignment could be brief – perhaps 4-12 weeks. If we are unable to select a permanent TA from this applicant pool, the interim TA assignment may last longer.
I don’t know if any other items will be on the agenda. If I learn of other items, I will post an update on the blog (link to the left).
