The next selectmen’s meeting is tomorrow (Tuesday, June 6, 5:00pm).

This is a special meeting to discuss the town administrator (TA) transition process.

We will talk further about appointing an interim TA to take over from Katie Chambers after Katie’s departure date on June 16. This is a non-public session. Hopefully we will be able to make at least some announcements before or after the non-public session, to keep taxpayers informed.

I don’t know if any other items will be on the agenda. If I learn of other items, I will post an update on the blog (link to the left).

There is also a Planning Board worksession on Tuesday at 6:30pm. The worksession will address, among other things, the tests the Planning Board may use in the future to decide whether to grant discretionary “waivers” from land use regulations (eg, subdivision and site plan regulations). There will be a benefit if the Planning Board can come up with a process so that waivers will be addressed on a consistent basis that is clear to applicants and abutters.
